Thoughts on Fashion Trends

Are long denim skirts really coming back? In recent trends online and in magazines it appears that some old trends are coming back. Some tacky, some cute. This makes me think of some trends back in the day that were strange.
Crocs
I work in a middle school and I cannot tell you how many students I see wearing crocs these days. I'm pretty sure I was ashamed to wear crocs back in the day. To me these were the fad at age 9 and now they've come back? Criminal. RIP to the orange crocs.
Blue light glasses
Are they really helping you focus? Is it that hard to dim the brightness on your computer or phone? I actually keep my computer on night mode 24/7 and I think it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I don't think glasses are a fashion statement. If you have bad eye sight you're plagued with the expensive frames for eternity. THEN you may wear cute ones and pick out something that is stylish for you. Would you roll around in a wheelchair just for the fashion statement?
Socks and Sandals
Well it's almost November now so I don't believe anyone would be wearing this combo anymore. I am pro-socks & sandals. It's not really fashion, but it's comfortable. Especially if you're Also some people have really gross looking feet and don't take care of their toenails. Cover up the dogs!
Mixing patterns
This one might be a little controversial. I think it depends on the patterns and colours. Stripes and polkadots might work unless it's green stripes and blue polkadots (don't get me started on green and blue). Floral and gingham has potential to look nice. I think the eclectic look it fun, funky, flirty, and fresh, but when you're looking like a clown it's a no for me.
Chunky shoes and oversized clothes
What is the point of buying things that aren't flattering to your figure? I'm not saying everyone needs to walk around looking like a supermodel, but if your clothes don't fit - why wear them? The chunky platform shoes just look a little clownish.
